While working in Ecuador I was mainly with my little babies,
but on occasion I would go right next door to another orphanage that was mainly for children with special needs.
I will be the first to admit, it was hard for me to figure out how to handle these children in the beginning,
but once I was able to look past their differences and give my full love to them it was incredible to see how much they taught me and helped me during my short 3 month stay.

Today I want to tell you about one in particular, his name is Pablo, or Pablito as we would call him.
He had severe cerebral palsy, couldn't walk, couldn't talk and had to be fed through a tube that was in his stomach.
But that didn't stop him from having the most amazing spirit that you could feel the second you walked into the room.
He made everyone feel so loved and special, and could turn your day around with one of his huge semi-toothless smiles:]
My sweet boy passed away yesterday, and from the information I could gather he left us just as he had lived his life, as a Saint.
I love this boy and I know he is being taken great care of by our Father in Heaven.
Te amo por siempre, Pablito.

Besitos.
